GREEN CERT IRELAND

Policies & Forms

Every policy, form and reference document mentioned across our course pages and FAQs, in one place. Where a document isn't yet published online, we've flagged it clearly rather than linking to nothing.

Course Cancellation Request Form

Protection of Enrolled Learners (PEL)

Fees, refunds & common questions

Budget for: time and travel to on-farm days, your own wellingtons and overalls, the Category W driving permit process if you don’t hold one, and possible resit or extension fees if needed. If you’re applying for RPL, there may be a fee for the assessment — see the RPL & Exemptions Policy for detail. We’d rather you hear all of this now than later.

If a course is cancelled, or postponed beyond 60 days, you get a full refund. If it’s oversubscribed, you’re offered a seat on the next available course within 60 days.

If you wish to cancel your own place, this is non-refundable: because this is a scheduled course with a fixed start date, the standard 14-day cancellation right is lost once the course is open for you to begin — for example, once your course portal access has been issued for your start date, whether or not you’ve actually logged in or engaged with it.

In the event of a medical reason, you may put your course on hold for a maximum of six months by submitting the Course Deferral Request Form. The postponement will be considered at the sole discretion of Forus Training and will require submission of a valid medical certificate. Continuation of the payment plan will be necessary during the postponement period.

Someone from the team will come back to you as soon as possible during working hours — 9:00am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

No — accounts are personal and can’t be transferred or shared. Each learner needs their own enrolment.

Your course portal — where recordings, materials and submissions live — stays open for the nine months you have to finish the course; access expires after that.

Protection of Enrolled Learners (PEL) arrangements are in place for programmes of three months or more, so enrolled learners can complete even in the unlikely event of provider failure. See the PEL entry above.
